NotesIn the summer of 1975, several large debris accumulations in Mill Creek were removed. Streamflow was studied after the debris was removed. The first few fall and winter rains showed great increases in turbidity in Mill Creek, with less turbity later in the water year, indicating that sediment that had piled up behind the debris was flushed out quickly. "Dounstream impacts should be considered in assessing trade-offs associated with debris removal and increased sedimentation." Effects on fish not covered in this paper.
