NotesNavigation: Small boat mooring basin "which provides for an entrance channel and a protective breakwater" at Waldport is authorized, work delayed pending "the required local contributions." Surveys: 1941 report gave recommendations. Study for flood control and water conservation authorized in 1966, public hearing held in 1968. Report on Alsea and tributaries found "no structural measures should be undertaken by the Corps of Engineers," and was published in 1973.
