NotesThe snail Goniobasis plicifera silicula is host to a liver fluke which, when infected with a rickettsial organism, causes salmon poisoning in canids. In this study, fish from the Alsea River, fish from the Alsea Fish Hatchery, and host snails from the Alsea River were used. Identified major life stages of the salmon poisoning fluke. Major professor was Ivan Pratt.
