Notes | Early fall runs were slow to start due to low water, but salmon quality and abundance were good. “Warden McAllister has made arrangements to build a permanent hatchery on the Coquille River where large numbers of Chinook and Silverside eggs have been taken in the past. Next year similar stations will be established on the Alsea and the Nehalem.” |
