NotesThe Game Commission’s study of Alsea River winter steelhead was wrapping up, and fewer fish were being marked, but anglers were still urged to report any marked fish, and where and when caught. Includes an illustration of fins and maxillary. “The stocking rate of 100,000 steelhead smolts will be continued on the Alsea. A portion of these will be marked so that hatchery contribution can be monitored.”
