Notes | This report was intended as an internal document for Shellfish Program staff. A new study on recreational crabbing was conducted in Alsea Bay during 1988. One objective was to help resolve tensions between sport and commercial crabbers. About 5% of the crabbers took 95% of the crabs. Alsea Bay produced the largest harvest of ghost shrimp for the fishbait industry, with 55.4% of the state total. |
